WooCommerce hosting for fast online stores.

An online store needs more power than a simple website: lots of products, a cart, checkout and payment providers. Our hosting with NVMe, 1 GB RAM and PHP 8.1+ is built for exactly that.

Why WooCommerce needs special hosting

WooCommerce turns WordPress into a full-fledged online store. That's convenient – but it places very different demands on the server than a blog or a company website. The reason: many pages of a store simply can't be cached.

Cart, customer account, checkout and order overview are individual for every visitor. These pages are generated fresh on every request – with database queries for products, prices, stock levels, shipping rules and taxes. The more products and extensions your store has, the more work the server has to do.

This is exactly where good hosting separates itself from mediocre hosting. Slow storage, too little memory or an outdated PHP version lead to sluggish product pages and a checkout that seems to take forever to load. And every second of waiting costs you sales: visitors who have to wait at checkout are more likely to abandon their purchase.

01 · Database

NVMe for lots of queries

Products, variations and orders mean lots of database access. NVMe storage answers these queries much faster than conventional SSDs.

02 · Performance

1 GB RAM & PHP 8.1+

Enough memory for WooCommerce, payment plugins and page builders – and a current PHP version that executes code quickly.

03 · Caching

NGINX & OPcache

NGINX delivers static content efficiently, and OPcache keeps compiled PHP code in memory – which also takes the load off dynamic store pages.

Security for your store and customer data

An online store processes personal data: names, addresses, email addresses and order histories. That makes secure hosting all the more important. At Servflix, multiple layers protect your store: DDoS protection at the network level, a firewall on the server and a Web Application Firewall that detects typical attacks on WordPress and WooCommerce.

All connections are encrypted via HTTPS – the SSL certificate is included for every domain. Payment providers and browsers require HTTPS anyway. And if something does go wrong, say after a faulty plugin update, daily backups let you restore an earlier state.

Because our servers are located in the EU and we conclude a Data Processing Agreement with every customer, our hosting provides the foundation for running a GDPR-compliant store. Learn more on our page about GDPR-compliant WordPress hosting.

Which plan is right for your store?

Starter (€10) is ideal for getting started: a small store with a manageable product range, e.g. for crafts, local products or digital downloads. 10 GB of NVMe storage is enough for hundreds of product images if you optimize them before uploading.

Plus (€15) is the right choice when your store grows or you run a company website and team mailboxes alongside your store. With 20 databases and up to 10 WordPress websites, you can also set up a staging environment for updates.

Plus+ (€20) offers 20 GB of storage and room for up to 15 WordPress websites – ideal for larger product ranges with lots of product images or for agencies managing multiple client stores.

How to get more speed out of WooCommerce

Good hosting is the foundation – a few settings in your store make a noticeable difference on top of that:

Optimize product images: Upload images at the size you actually need and use the WebP format. Large original photos are the most common reason for slow product pages.

Choose extensions carefully: Every WooCommerce extension loads its own code. Deactivate what you don't need and test new plugins on a staging installation.

Configure page caching correctly: Product and category pages can be cached, but cart, checkout and customer account pages cannot. Most caching plugins detect WooCommerce automatically.

Stay up to date: Update WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP regularly – this improves security and often speed as well. A backup before major updates is a good idea.

The most common slowdowns in WooCommerce stores

When a store gets slow, there's rarely a single cause. In practice, we keep seeing the same patterns:

Too many product variations on one page: Variable products with dozens of combinations of size, color and material generate lots of database queries. Fast NVMe storage helps especially here – as does a sensible variation structure.

Bloated database: Abandoned carts, old sessions, revisions and plugin logs pile up over months. Regular cleanup keeps the database lean.

External scripts: Tracking, chat widgets, review and social media embeds often load additional files from third-party servers. Every single script adds to loading time – and has to be accounted for in the cookie banner.

Scheduled tasks: WooCommerce handles many tasks in the background, such as emails or stock synchronization. With a real cron job set up in Plesk, these tasks run reliably without slowing down visitors.

Too little memory: Your store, payment plugins, shipping extensions and a page builder together need a noticeable amount of RAM. With 1 GB for PHP, you have plenty of headroom with us.

Migrating your store: step by step

Already have a WooCommerce store with another provider? Here's how the migration usually works:

1. Create a backup: Fully back up the files and database of your current store – ideally also using a migration plugin.

2. Set up your plan: Choose Starter, Plus or Plus+ and add your domain in Plesk. Using your computer's hosts file, you can test the store on the new server before switching the domain over.

3. Transfer your data: Restore the backup or use the migration plugin. Then check products, payment methods, shipping rules and email delivery.

4. Switch the domain: Update the DNS records, activate the SSL certificate in Plesk and test checkout with a test order.

5. Monitor: Keep an eye on orders and error messages during the first few days. If you have questions, our support team is there for you around the clock – personally, from real people.

WooCommerce hosting FAQ

Can I migrate my existing WooCommerce store?

Yes, and it's free: contact our support team after ordering and we migrate your store for you. You then test checkout, payment methods and emails before the domain is switched. You can of course also move it yourself with a migration plugin or a backup.

Which payment providers can I use?

All those supported by WooCommerce – for example via the official PayPal, Stripe or Klarna plugins. HTTPS is required, and it's included with us.

Is 10 GB of storage enough for a store?

For many small and mid-sized stores, yes, especially with optimized images. If your product range grows, simply switch to Plus or Plus+.

Is there a minimum contract term?

No. All monthly plans can be canceled at any time, effective at the end of the current month.

Can I use Elementor for my store?

Yes. With 1 GB RAM, our plans are Elementor Pro ready. The Elementor Pro license is not included.

Where are the servers located?

In data centers in the EU. Your store data never leaves the EU.
